Your prayers provide us with the strength and support we need to provide educational and spiritual programs for young people, many of whom face insurmountable odds. Please pray for the work of the Brothers, as well as for our students, their families and our lay partners. The Marist Brothers lead very simple lives in community. Yet we have many financial needs, mostly to support our work with youth and provide care for aging Brothers who have dedicated their lives to helping others.
Through careful planning you can identify the method for making a contribution which best fits your personal situation and maximize the impact your gift will have.
Exchange a gift of cash or securities for a fixed income each year for the rest of your life (or the lives of two people). Those wishing to participate must be at least 60 years of age with a charitable gift of $5,000 or more.
Inaugurated in 1994, is a circle within the Marist Family of those who have included the Marist Brothers in their will or estate plan, securing the mission of the Marist Brothers in the future.
The Provincial Development Office publishes an annual newsletter every August featuring our Honor Roll of Donors from the previous fiscal year. Over 4,000 benefactors to the Marist Brothers receive each issue.
The Marist Brothers are deeply committed to living its Mission of making Jesus Christ known and Loved, particularly among the least favored in our world. Coordinated efforts to be in Solidarity with the poorest of our world are lived out in many dynamic ways in all 82 countries that are served by the Marist Brothers. On a Province wide level, the Marist Brothers support a wide range of Solidarity projects.
Three2Six Program in South Africa
When Pope Francis recently met with our Marist Provincials in Rome, he challenged us as Marists to pay particular attention to the area of Ecology. He stressed that we as Marist Educators play a critical step in working with young people who have a great passion for Ecology and are the best hope our planet has for a sustainable future.

The Annual Fund
The Annual Fund is a major source of support for the Marist Brothers. Every year from September to March we generate financial support that funds our many activities, including offering educational and spiritual programs for our students and lay partners, providing training and ministry opportunities for all our Brothers, meeting escalating health care costs for our elderly and infirm Brothers and providing quality living environments for our retired Brothers.
Retirement Fund
Every spring we ask our friends and benefactors to help us meet the increasing cost of caring for our senior Brothers. Today, more than 70 Marist Brothers are in need of some level of special care. Most of these Brothers began their ministry when little thought was given to retirement. They ministered selflessly, trusting their futures to friends who share our commitment to education and youth. You can help us to care for our elderly Brothers with dignity and grace by donating to this fund today.
Single Focus Appeals
While education is the primary mission of the Marist Brothers, we are also involved in diverse ministries outside the traditional classroom. Some of these vital ministries include vocation awareness, camps for special needs children, Marist Leadership Youth projects and other outreach programs for youth.
