On Friday, February 17th, the NY Marists of Champagnat joined forces with some wonderful Mount Men to do a Midnight Run in Manhattan. Donations were collected over the course of a month by MOC all over the state, and 6 MOC were on site to work side-by-side with the Mount students to put together the care packages. They were joined virtually by the Champagnat Hall Community for a closing prayer before the van headed out for the night. 150 care packages were distributed. Many thanks to those who donated and/or prayed for this endeavor. It was a true labor of love for those near and far!
A special thanks to Valerie Savino (cohort 1), Mayra Nolan, and the Mount for hosting, to Miriam Eisenmenger (cohort 1) for helping coordinate, Dan O'Reilly (cohort 1), Joe & Rebecca Chowske (cohorts 1&3 respectively), and Madeline Picou (cohort 1) for going in person to the Mount to help!!
