A group of Marist Young Professionals from Florida and Texas and Ed Kennedy, Marist of Champagnat from NJ, gathered in Kentucky for the long MLK Day weekend. The experience at Magnificat Farm in Jackson included building a porch and doing interior work at the home of a survivor of the devastating 2022 flood. The weekend ended in a winter wonderland of fluffy snow! It was a wonderful experience of living the charism through service, community, and prayer. The program was part of the new initiative to connect with and provide opportunities for young Marists in their 20s and 30s.
Any Marists in their 20s and 30s who would like to be involved are welcome to reach out to [email protected] to find out about future events.
