Novices at Camp Marist

Camp Marist

The Novices from the Novitiate of Esopus (Sam Amos – USA, Jack Hodgeand and James O’Sullivan – Australia) along with Brother Rob Clark (novice master) have lived a week’s immersion experience at Camp Marist, New Hampshire. Camp Marist, a ministry of the Province of the USA, is a summer camp for campers and counsellors from over ten countries (including Australia and New Zealand).

As a live-in camp for young people aged between five and fifteen, there are a variety of activities that are part of the daily program, such as: horseback riding, water skiing, arts and crafts etc.

The Novices have had a chance to help with some of the activities and experience a unique ministry within the USA.

The photo shows the novices with Brother Rene Roy at Camp Marist.
