Christopher Columbus has implemented 'Campus for GREEN: Sustainable School leadership' practices around their school campus, following the mission of the organization, 'to teach students and communities the power of a circular economy.' The Campus for GREEN program delivers economic, environmental, and social value by rethinking waste as a sustainable raw material, ready to be transformed into new products.
Seven students from Christopher Columbus stayed at the Marist House of hospitality in Lawrence while volunteering at Cor Unum and Lazarus House Ministries. Chef Br. Al Rivera and his seven sous-chefs cooked a meal for 200 people at Cor Unum!
Columbus upperclassmen who attended the Marist Youth Leadership Camp over the summer welcomed the new class of freshmen as they were beginning their journey as Explorers and Marist Youth.

Daniella Rodriguez hosted a prayer gathering for faculty/staff focused on the Hermitage and building from humble beginnings. The group reflected on areas where they feel called to create something new, writing messages on small rocks and placing them at L'Hermitage Rock in the Marist Circle on campus.
