The Grinch of Champagnat Hall — Br. Paul Forgues—made a special appearance at the staff luncheon on Tuesday! Click here to watch a video of our newest Grinch in action!
The Brothers and staff at Champagnat Hall have been busy these past several weeks—providing sixty pies for families served by Dominican Family Services, purchasing gifts for children in a South Bronx after-school program, and joining Mount St. Michael Academy students to decorate cookies for the Mercy Center in Mott Haven and trim the community tree.
Anyone who will be in the New York area on Christmas Day and would like to join the Champagnat Hall community for their Christmas noon meal is invited to email, call, or text Steve Milan by Tuesday, December 23 at [email protected] or 570-561-7929. All are welcome!
Brothers Bill Lavigne and Bob Conley joined the Roselle Catholic High School community for their annual Christmas Mass this week.

Students from Mount Campus Ministry, joined by Santa himself, paid a heartwarming visit to the Mercy Center to deliver toys to some truly well-deserving children. Smiles, laughter, and holiday cheer filled the room as gifts were shared and spirits were lifted. This was a beautiful reminder that the true magic of the season is found in giving, kindness, and community.

At last Friday’s Central Catholic High School Christmas Concert, School President Jodi Linnehan Kriner and Br. Dan battled it out for best dressed!

Br. Brian was in Eugene this week meeting up with local Marists of Champagnat and attending Marist Catholic's Christmas Prayer Service.

Last week the Marist Community of Welcome hosted two end-of-the-semester celebrations for the University Catholic Center’s student leaders and retreat team.

Marist Youth partnered with the Big Shoulders Fund at St. John de La Salle’s after-school program, sharing joy and spreading the spirit of Advent throughout the community. This semester, Marist Youth partook in over 20 community service initiatives and spent more than 500 hours collectively contributing to many local causes!

A recent SJA prayer service and Nativity offered a meaningful reminder of the true spirit of Christmas. Through prayer, song, and reflection, students brought the story of Christ’s birth to life, creating a beautiful opportunity for the community to pause and reflect on the light Christmas brings into the world. The students who participated shared their gifts with great reverence and care.
