Tom Hurley ’85 reflected, “To be a Catholic school is to be universal. We welcome everybody. ”This meaningful liturgy was a powerful reminder of Marist’s Catholic mission in the Marist Brothers’ tradition and of the people who make faith and learning thrive each day. RedHawks also proudly represented their grammar schools—an especially fitting tribute, as nearly 60% of Marist students come from Catholic grammar schools.
