WEBINARS ARE UNDERWAY: The 26 people making up our 5th cohort have officially begun their formation journeys! Webinars meet twice monthly through April. The 10 members of Pathway 1 are also off to a good start, discussing "A Heart that Knew No Bounds" by Br Sean Sammon during monthly meetings with their mentors.
IN PERSON RETREAT OPPORTUNITY: Deepening our Call, happening May 16th-18th at the Marist Brothers Center in Esopus, is a retreat experience open to all, offering participants time away to learn, explore, spend time in nature, and share in community with other Marists. Marists of Champagnat Maureen and Pat Hagan and Paul Molnar were joined by Gary Carvalho in volunteering at the Coalition to House the Homeless service fair in Elizabeth, NJ, last month. Volunteers helped set up the clothing distribution room for the event that serves over 350 people who are experiencing homelessness or precarious housing.
Miami area Marists of Champagnat were hosted by Eric Pino for an evening of prayer and socializing. Guest speaker Fr Bob Vallee shared insights on commitment, dedication and love.
