Members of the Marists of Champagnat Lay Council gathered at the Marist Brothers Center in Esopus from April 19 to 22 for several days of prayer, reflection, and collaboration.
During their time together, Council members participated in the Black Madonna conference and also held their regular business meeting. The gathering provided an opportunity to reflect together on the life and mission of the Marists of Champagnat and to continue strengthening their shared commitment to accompanying young people.
Time spent in community allowed members to pray together, engage in meaningful conversation, and consider ways the Lay Council can continue supporting the mission and growth of the Marists of Champagnat across the USA.
Meetings such as this help deepen the partnership between Lay Marists and Marist Brothers as they continue working together to make Jesus Christ known and loved among young people.
