A letter from Bro. Ben…
Brothers,
I want to share with you the good news that Brother Brian Poulin has requested permission to begin his year of preparation for the Profession of Perpetual Vows as a Marist Brother. As part of this year of preparation this summer Brian will be attending the Religious Formation Conference’s “Lifelong Commitment Program” where he will spend time with other men and women in Consecrated Life who are also preparing for their life-commitment. During the academic year, Brian will continue with the other aspects of our Temporary Professed Program (accompaniment, spiritual direction, the inter-community formation program) and then make his 30 day Retreat next summer. Towards the end of the year, Brian will discern the decision to formally apply for permission to profess his Perpetual Vows. On this vigil of the Feast of St. Marcellin, let us pray in thanksgiving for the gift of Brian to our Congregation and in year of preparation may we continue to offer our prayer and fraternal support as he continues to listen to the Lord’s call.
Ben
