Br. Christopher Shannon is celebrating his 60th Jubilee as a Marist Brother. He entered the Marist Brothers Novitiate on August 15th, 1960. He worked for over twenty-five years as a teacher and guidance counselor at Mt. St. Michael Academy in NY, Cardinal Hayes High School in NY, Central Catholic High School in Lawrence, MA, Marist High School in Chicago, IL, Marist Brothers High School in Pago Pago, American Somoa, and Our Lady of Good Counsel in NY. He worked as the Pastoral Care Coordinator at Most Holy Redeemer Church in Illinois and has served the Good Shepherd Center in Lawrence, MA, and the Marist Brothers Province Development Office in numerous roles.
