Br. Albert Philip celebrates his 70th Jubilee as a Marist Brother this year. He entered the Marist Brothers in 1951 in Tialpan, Mexico. He served as a teacher at St. Joseph Academy (Laredo, TX) and at St. Joseph Academy (Brownsville, TX). He worked for many years in parish ministry and community outreach within the Diocese of Brownsville including at Our Lady of Guadalupe, Our Lady of Assumption, and San Felipe de Jesus Parish. He also ministered as a Chaplain at Mercy hospital in Laredo, TX and as an organizer and manager in the Cameron Federal Credit Union in Brownsville, TX. He continues to be a prayerful and inspirational member of the Los Fresnos and San Felipe de Jesus Parish communities.
