Throughout the IV Regional Assembly, Brothers and lay Marists gather in a spirit of prayer, listening, and dialogue to reflect on the life and mission of the Arco Norte region. Guided by the calls of the 23rd General Chapter, participants are invited to discern how the Marist family can continue to grow in faith, communion, and service to children and young people.
The Assembly focuses on several key themes that help shape conversation, reflection, and shared discernment during these days together.
The Assembly reflects on how to foster a vibrant culture of Marist vocations by encouraging authentic discernment, supporting those called to Marist life, and inspiring new generations to discover the beauty of the Gospel and the Marist mission.
Participants explore ways to deepen a living Marist spirituality centered on Jesus Christ, inspired by Mary, and rooted in prayer, reflection, and a shared journey of faith.
The Assembly considers how Marists can continue to build life-giving communities marked by fraternity, inclusion, compassion, and a spirit of shared responsibility.
Reflection also focuses on developing forms of leadership that are collaborative, transparent, and rooted in service, helping ensure the vitality and sustainability of the Marist mission.
At the heart of the Assembly is the commitment to be Good News for children and young people, especially those who are most vulnerable, through education, accompaniment, and presence.
The reflections and conversations around these themes help guide the discernment of the Assembly as participants listen together for how the Spirit is calling the Arco Norte region to move forward in mission.
As the Chapter reminds us:
“Let us truly become builders of a New Hermitage: a home for all, a river of life.”
