ASSEMBLY DAY 5: FRIDAY

A Time to Gather, Reflect, and Give Thanks

Asamblea ENG

The final day of the IV Arco Norte Regional Assembly unfolded with a spirit of gratitude, reflection, and mission. After a week of deep listening, honest dialogue, and shared discernment, participants gathered one last time to bring the Assembly to a meaningful close.

The morning began with breakfast and personal time, offering space to prepare hearts and minds for the final moments together. A prayer led by the Arco Norte Regional Committee grounded the day in spirituality, reminding all present that the work of the Assembly is rooted in faith and guided by the Spirit.

Looking Back in Order to Move Forward

During the Open Forum and Regional Assembly Evaluation, participants were invited to speak openly about their experience of the week. This moment created space for honest reflection, gratitude, and constructive insight.

Voices from across the region shared what had been most meaningful: the strength of fraternity, the richness of intercultural dialogue, and the shared desire to walk together as one Marist family. This time of evaluation was not simply about reviewing the past few days, but about naming the movements of the Spirit and identifying how the fruits of the Assembly can continue to grow in each Province and ministry.

Closing in Faith: Eucharist and Mission

The Assembly formally concluded with a closing Eucharist, the spiritual heart of the day. Gathered as Brothers and lay Marists, participants gave thanks for the week and entrusted its fruits to God.

This celebration was both an ending and a sending forth. Rooted in the Marist charism, participants were reminded that the true impact of the Assembly will be lived out in their return to communities, ministries, and young people.

A Joyful Conclusion

The day concluded with a festival dinner, a joyful celebration of the relationships built throughout the week. In a spirit of fraternity and gratitude, participants shared one final evening together, celebrating not only what had taken place, but what lies ahead.
