Sharing Our Mission: CCB was first introduced in 2021 as a province-wide effort to educate, form, and empower school personnel seeking to create a wholesome community of belonging in their school, one that genuinely welcomes and actively values diversity and the richness of difference. This missional work belongs to us all, and this conference is suitable for those with no experience in this work to those who are expert in this field.
The conference typically aims to:
- share and practice using tools for personal growth and self-care
- examine current realities surrounding issues of diversity, inclusion, and belonging
- supply practical tools for creating a more inclusive experience of belonging among students
- provide practical tools for helping other school members grow as co-creators and sustainers of inclusion and belonging
- build a sense of province-wide solidarity in this work
- empower, enlighten, energize, and connect
Cost: $350 (excluding attendees from Marist Schools contributing to the Province School Assessment Program and Province employees)
This fee includes overnight stay at the Marist Brothers Center @ Esopus, meals, socials, and program materials (financial assistance is always available to those in need).
