Marist Life and Mission promotes the formation of Marist adults, Brothers, and lay people together.
This is done through several popular programs which have been offered to school personnel for over
20 years. Sharing Our Call, levels 1 and 2, provide the opportunity for participants to gather with
colleagues from around the country and learn about and reflect on our Marist charism.
Sharing Our Call 1: October 23 - 25, 2022 & January 29 - 31, 2023
Sharing our Call 1 is a three-day program especially designed as an introductory level program for those
who wish to know more about Marcellin Champagnat, Marist pedagogy, and our Marist mission to
evangelize through the Christian education of youth.
Topics to be presented include: Marcellin Champagnat: Founder and Educator, Marist Spirituality,
Being a Marist Educator in a Marist school, and Understanding Youth Culture.

Reviews:
"I knew something about Champagnat before I came. But now I have a better understanding of his life and the impact it can have on me and on my students."
"I really appreciated the time away. The workshops were enlightening, the prayers were beautiful, and Esopus is just such a restful place. The good food was an added bonus!"
"I loved that you gave a definition of the charism. Now I have the words to explain it to others."
"The Marist family does a good job of finding the extraordinary in the ordinary. Great reminder of the impact we have in the world."
Sharing Our Call 2: April 30 - May 2, 2023
Sharing Our Call 2 is also a three-day program which builds upon the themes of level 1.
It is designed for those faculty and staff members who have embraced the Marist charism and who are
looking to deepen their understanding of Marist mission and spirituality.
Topics to be presented include: Call & Charism, Champagnat & Religious Experience, and Evangelizers in the Midst of Youth.
