The Juan Diego Project that started this past year, led by Brother John Klein is set to get a visit from Pope Francis this September. Pope Francis will be visiting the Queen of Angels Inner city school in East Harlem. Marist has a special connection with this school. The current principal, Joanne Walsh worked many years with the Marist Brothers in the south Bronx and is also an affiliated member of the Marist Brothers. The Juan Diego project started by the Marist Brothers works with Mexican and Hispanic immigrants at the Queen of Angels school and former parish. We are excited about this visit and hope you will keep all Marist Brothers and those served by the project in your prayers.
